Butler Beach | Crescent Beach | Florida Beaches |

Butler Beach AccessButler beach is a very small community of a few thousand people located several miles south of Saint Augustine Beach on Highway A1A. Cars are allowed to drive on the beach and there is a beach ramp here. Not a lot of high-rise hotels or resorts here, but there are plenty of beach houses. A healthy dune field protects the beach houses from the pounding surf and high tides. This is a nice little uncrowded access with dune walkovers. |

Crescent Beach AccessCrescent Beach is a beach town located between Butler Beach and Matanzas Inlet. It also sports a most conveniently located beachfront restaurant called the "South Beach Grill," situated between the off-beach parking lot and the beach driving ramp. It is the colorful building to the left of the ramp in the photo below. This was a very busy ramp the day we visited because the Butler Beach driving ramp was closed that day. Don't confuse this "Crescent Beach" on the Atlantic with the "Crescent Beach" on Siesta Key on the Gulf Coast. They are two separate beaches with the same name. |
