Click to Register with the Daily Beach Report Forum The above link will take you to the forum. Click on "Register" in the upper right hand portion of the page. Accept the terms of participation, then fill in your registration information. Choose a user name that will identify your business (if you are a business). Further down the page under "profile information" in the signature block you can put the name of your business, a link to your website and any other information you would like to convey about your products, services, contact info, etc. NOTE: You do not have to register to post to the forum. Anyone can post at any time. However, if you are doing a daily report and would like to have a signature line in your post it is easier if you register. When you make a post, click on "New Topic," unless you are replying to an existing post. Use the Subject to identify your business and location. It is important for people to be able to know where you are on the island, ie. north, south, central, near xyz public beach, etc. See the sample posts on the forum under Siesta Key and Venice. If you don't see your island listed, send me an email and I'll set it up for you. |

Please read the beach reporting guidelines before posting to the report forum. |

To participate in the Daily Beach Report you can either be:
|
| If you have a business on the beach or otherwise work on the beach and have internet access, I encourage you to keep us updated daily. All you have to do is go to http://www.beachhunter.net/dbr and register with the Daily Beach Report Forum. (You must be registered [free] to post). Then come back every day, sign in with your user name and password, and tell us what it's like at the beach that day! |
| If you are an individual who lives at the beach but can't post every day, then please just post whenever you can. You don't have to be registered with the forum. It is especially helpful to receive information from as many locations as possible during times when something interesting is going on at the beach. For instance, when the surf is up, people want to know. Everyone wants to know if there are red tide conditions that may cause respiratory irritation, or if there are dead fish on the beach. If there is fog, or if there are beach renourishment projects going on, people want to know. |
| If you've just visited the beach, and you've observed something you think visitors would want to know about, please consider registering with the forum and posting to let us know about it. Or, you can send me an email with the details and I'll make the post for you. beachhunter@beachhunter.net |
