| Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, Florida is world famous for its very
wide beaches that are made of pure white quartz crystals. The
sand is very fine and packs hard near the water's edge--perfect
for bike riding, baby strollers, jogging, and just going for a
long walk. The beach slopes gently into the shallow, calm, clear waters, making it a very safe beach for young children and older adults that might not be as agile as they once were. Siesta Beach has a few shells, but is not a hotspot for shell collectors. Siesta Key Public Beach is where all of Sarasota goes to the beach. |
